an adventure blog seen through my lens

Who’s George?

GEORGE SCOTT YARBROUGH

Definition: WAYFARER – a traveler, a journeyer, a wanderer especially by foot (but that’s not my mode of choice).

I decided to start a photo blog because I was inspired by  two friends: Brett Beadle and Roberto Westbrook. I enjoy reading and seeing their stories and adventures. Now, I hope you enjoy mine.  I have linked their blogs to mine…look for ‘links’!

I worked for Operation Smile for over 5.5 years and had the amazing privilege of traveling and living around the globe. If you don’t know Operation Smile, check out the website at www.operationsmile.org. It is a global health charity that provides free surgery to children and young adults that suffer with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palates. It is an amazing organization and is worthy of your support!

Back to me…I’m a 3rd generation born Panamanian but I travel with a US passport. That’s about as much of an allegiance I have to any country. I don’t mind where I live as long as I’m happy and it serves me.

The purpose of this blog is to keep my friends and family updated with my travels and adventures and to advance my love for photography. Please leave comments…keep it live.

George
